Our kid has started Karate at Elite Leadership Martial Arts since 2019. We all love this wonderful place!Sensei are nice and professional, kids all seem to cooperate well. Except the practical techniques, we love the way that the Sensei teach kids how to develop good behaviour/habits/leadership toward real life! Especially, their recent "6 Animal Character Development Program" which is very interesting. We find that our kid love to obey the "rules" from the program which help a lot to develop his daily good habits. We highly recommend Elite Leadership Martial Arts:)

I joined Elite Leadership Martial Arts a year and a half ago. Being nearly forty years old, I was concerned it could realistically be too late to begin a martial arts program. But the team at ELMA encouraged me that it’s never too late to make a positive life change. The program has been incredible. The physical and self-defence benefits of learning karate are amazing, and I am in better shape now than I have ever been. The program is also highly focused on improving one’s character. Renshi Jeff and Sensei April consistently inspire discipline, dedication, determination, and perseverance in their students, while always modelling the qualities of patience, encouragement, kindness, and respect. The team embraces the concept of healthy competition and being a good sport, while also reminding students that life isn’t all about being better than someone else, but rather being the best you that you can be. Renshi Jeff talks about the Japanese concept of “kaizen”, meaning “continuous improvement”, and its importance not only in learning karate, but in everything you do. I highly recommend this dojo!

No longer will you have to worry about whether or not your child is on the right path in life. We know how much effort you place in raising your child to follow your lead and avoid negative influences such as peer pressure, the internet, and practices of other kids.
Protection from Dangers & Threats
We teach children that most situations can be resolved by seeking out an authority such as a parent or teacher and thoroughly explaining the situation. We never want to see kids use their Martial Arts skills in the outside world, but we also believe understanding how to respond to a threat is crucial in today's society.
Activity & Fitness
Kids today get less exercise than ever. With screens and devices constantly capturing attention, it's incredibly important that kids get the exercise they need to develop.
Socialize and Bond with Other Students
One of our top priorities here at our school is getting students to put down their phones and connect with the world around them.

We love Elite Leadership Martial Arts, and all it has to offer for our son. I signed him up for karate at ELMA a couple of years ago to help him with building self confidence, and how to overcome challenges. He walked away from soccer when he was in SK, after being expected to play like the older kids, because he tall for his age. ELMA has helped him to rebuild confidence, and teach skills that he now also uses in baseball. He now breaks down challenges instead of getting angry. We love our ELMA family, and all our friends have made. He would also like me to add, he also loves parents night out events.
